I'm the type of gal who needs a playlist for every mood and occasion and believes that every sun-soaked day pairs perfectly with a glass of dessert wine. Life, to me, is meant to be lived in color, full of loud and uninhibited joy, with its twists and turns fully felt... aka I am a goofy, authentic, cry-baby, free spirited lover girl. And I LOVE folks who are also unapologetically themselves.
I'm always creating, from imagery to open-mic performances to low-quality embroidery, there's always something up my sleeve. I love days spent with my hands in the dirt, making my home a little more lovely to live in, and art museums full of masterpieces I don't fully understand. When I'm not working, I'm usually planning my next themed party, painting (and re-painting) a wall in my home or studio, or dreaming up my "next big thing."

+ My little family! I've got an incredible husband that dreams and laughs and schemes right along with me and the most brilliant little girl who makes me unimaginably proud... I could burst just thinking about her! Our rag-tag gang is rounded off perfectly by our pug, collaboratively named Stanley Reginald Kimberly Woodchop Cosmo...LOL. We all adore him and every snorting sound he makes.

+ Fashion - As a Leo (yeah, I'm an astrology girly, it's too fun not to be!), I love a good statement piece, and expressing myself with my wardrobe.

+ Theater - More specifically, the local community theater. I spend every summer involved in the North Central Nebraska Arts Council's play or musical production. So far, I've been a part of a murder-mystery dinner theater, Mamma Mia, Beauty and The Beast, Little Women, Into the Woods, and Calendar Girls with my directorial debut on it's way in summer 2026! There is so much talent in our rural area and it fills me with so much pride to watch the folks I share a community with shine on stage. If you're in the O'Neill area, watch out. I'll probably try to talk you into being a part of our next show! ;)

+ Live music - Well, really music in any form, but hearing it live is my favorite. From festivals to local talent, I won't pass up an opportunity to vibe to voices and melodies. My all-time favorite shows have been Maggie Rogers, Elton John, The Avett Brothers, The Jonas Brothers, Billy Joel, and The 1975.

That's my man, that's my boo! Chase is my right hand man, acting as second shooter for over 30 weddings, assisting with lighting, heavy-lifting, creative concepts, and so much more at sessions! We're excited to make him an official "crew member" as he takes the lead on session short films and continues to craft images from his own unique perspective at weddings. You'll be seeing more from him throughout 2026!

It's not every day you get to be the star of the show, so why not add a little glam? These gals at The Salty Blonde in Atkinson are my most trusted hair and makeup artists! While pro hair and makeup isn't a necessity, I always encourage my clients to go for it since both ladies know the right products to keep your hair perfect in Nebraska heat, humidity, and wind! The airbrush makeup they provide looks natural, is sweat-proof, and will last long after your portrait session has finished. I've worked with both Courtney and Emily for years and you can bet that they will give you results you'll want to come back for!
